Mungo Thomson’s Time Life series acquired by the Walker Art Center

Karma is pleased to share that the Walker Art Center has announced the permanent acquisition of all past and future volumes of Mungo Thomson’s Time Life series (2014– ). Comprising 16 volumes to date, this ongoing suite of stop-motion videos by the Los Angeles–based artist uses reference encyclopedias, photo books, how-to guides, and production manuals as its raw material. This arrangement ensures that the Walker will always hold a complete version of Time Life, with every new iteration entering the museum’s collection.
