For Art Basel Unlimited, curated by Ruba Katrib, Karma is delighted to announce major works by Woody De Othello and Ulala Imai: a large-scale, sculptural installation by Othello, and a monumental panoramic painting by Imai.

Woody De Othello’s two sides that hold truth (2026) comprises over fifty sculptures arranged in niches carved into a twelve-meter-long freestanding wall. Drawing on precolonial African traditions like Dogon art, kemetic philosophy, and spiritual texts, this altar-like installation infuses the inanimate with spirited animism, exploring how our emotional lives and collective memories are shaped by our relationship with the material world. two sides that hold truth is presented by Karma and Jessica Silverman.

Ulala Imai’s large-scale STUDIO (2026) offers a panoramic view into the artist’s workspace. In this self-referential painting, her classic characters—including Charlie Brown and Lucy van Pelt, a particular robe-clad teddy bear, and Chewbacca—are poised for their next roles in one of Imai’s warmly lit tableaux. STUDIO is presented by Karma, Nonaka-Hill, and Xavier Hufkens.
